LAUREL RIDGE COUNTRY CLUB TEES OFF WITH SARGE’S ANIMAL RESCUE FOUNDATION

On Thursday, April 12, 2007 Laurel Ridge Country Club in Waynesville is hosting Sarge’s Animal Rescue Foundation’s 1st Annual Happy Tails Charitable Golf Tournament.
Shotgun start at 1:00pm with 4-man Captain’s Choice. Registration begins at 11:30am. A boxed lunch will be provided for each golfer and a dinner reception will immediately follow the tournament at the Pavilion.
A 2007 Buick Lucerne will be the prize for the first Hole-In-One. For the 2nd and 3rd holes-in-one, prizes are a Bose music system and a Dell computer. Prizes will be awarded for Closest To The Pin on designated holes, Longest Drive, Most Accurate Drive and winners of each flight.
Each golfer will receive a certificate for a free Magique Rescue Wood valued at $125. There will be raffle for the 2007 Nike Sasquatch Tour Golf Bag. A package deal will be available at the registration desk for 2 Gold Tees and 1 Mulligan for $15.

“We are very excited that Laurel Ridge Country Club is partnering with Sarge’s to help make this tournament fun for the golfers,” said Barbara Buck, Fundraising Chairperson for Sarge’s. “We are contacting local businesses for sponsorships and the early response has been encouraging,” she continued. “Sponsors will not only be helping Sarge towards its goal of building an adoption center but also will be recognized in the schedule of events for the day, at the Pavillion for social events, in all the publications surrounding the tournament, in Sarge’s newsletter and on the Sarge website,” Buck said.
