"Give me Liberty and give me Independence this 4th of July," said Shaney the Coonhound. "Me, too," said Tinkerbelle the Tabby.
Celebrate Independence Day with Sarge's on the Courthouse Lawn
from 9am to 3pm during the Stars and Stripes Celebration in downtown Waynesville. Sarge's will be holding its largest adoption event ever with over 20 dogs available for adoption. All Sarge dogs are up to date on vaccinations and have been tested for heartworms. If the animal has not already been spayed/neutered, arrangements will be made for the surgery before the adoption. Small, large and in between will be awaiting new homes that day. "The adoption fee for any dog will be $60 at this event only," said Connie Hewitt, a Sarge's Board Member. "There will be some great dogs and their foster parents will be there to tell you all about each one," Hewitt continued.
