Sarge's now has "office hours!" and a new phone number

Effective January 5, 2009, Sarge's Animal Rescue Foundation has a staffed office at their new headquarters in the little rock building at 1659 S. Main Street in West Waynesville. The office is located next to Mountain 1st Bank and across the street from Balsam Animal Hospital.
The winter office hours are 11:00am-3:00pm Monday through Friday. Adoptions will be held each Saturday from 10:00am-4:00pm.
The new telephone number is 828-246-9050. Outside of office hours, messages can be left on the recorder and the calls will be returned.

"A local merchant has donated the rent on the new headquarters building," said Rosa Allomong, Sarge's Board Vice President. "South Main Street has a lot of traffic and we believe Sarge's will be very visible at that location . "Plus," continued Allomong, "the building is large enough for us to have pet adoptions every Saturday, receive visitors who want to know more about Sarge's or who would like make donations. While our volunteers were there painting and cleaning the building, people stopped by to donate cash, food, toys, pet beds and blankets. "
