Julie Wunder of WLOS-TV will return as the emcee for Sarge's Animal Rescue Foundation's Variety Show and Silent Auction Benefit on October 27, 2007.
Tish O'Conner, Chairperson of the event, said "As soon as the show was over last year, I booked the HART Performing Arts Center again for this year. Everyone I spoke to said they really enjoyed themselves and were so impressed with the entertainers who donated their time and talents. I just knew we had to do a variety show again."
The Variety Show will begin at 7:30p.m. Bids on the Silent Auction items may be entered before the show or during intermission.
The 2006 Silent Auction items included wine baskets, pottery, free rounds of golf, jewelry, a weekend stay at Balsam Mountain Preserve, art, kitchen counter tops and, of course, pet related items.
Sarge's welcomes donations for the silent auction from individuals or business in the community.
General admission tickets are $20 and VIP tickets are $75.
VIP ticket holders will be listed in the show's program and treated to a preview party from 6:00-7:00p.m. They will have an opportunity during the preview party to bid on silent auction items.
