On Saturday, October 18, the Dog Days of Autumn, a day of golf to benefit Sarge's Animal Rescue Foundation, will be hosted by Springdale Country Club and Resort. This is the third year that Eunice and Steven Tingle have devoted an entire day of reduced greens fees for golfers and donated the proceeds donated to Sarge's.

"Eunice and her son Steven are very supportive of Sarge's and its mission to save animals from euthanasia at the Haywood County animal facility," said Nancy Bulluck, a Board member of Sarge's and employee at Springdale. "The proceeds from this reduced-cost day of golf will be added to Sarge's building fund," continued Bulluck, "Every fundraising event puts us closer to getting the adoption center built which will enable Sarge's volunteers to save many more animals."
