On Friday, November 7, 2008 Wilma Marrow, owner of Deja View Gallery in Waynesville, is hosting a Warm-Up for Sarge fundraiser for Sarge's Animal Rescue Foundation.

"I hope everyone who knits or knows someone who does will donate scarves, hats, gloves, socks or related items to raise money for Sarge's building fund," said Marrow. "I've talked to a few people," continued Marrow, "who are knitting sweaters to donate." These items will be available to the public that evening from 6:00-9:00pm for a minimum $10 donation.

Donations can be brought to the Gallery anytime prior to the event on November 7th. Deja View Gallery is located at 34 N. Main Street.

"In addition to selling the donations, Wilma will also conduct raffles for some of the warm weather gear, Gallery stock, and baskets of goodies which will include pet toys and treats," said Rosa Allomong, Sarge Board member. "Wilma is such a good friend of Sarge's, and other non-profits in Haywood County," continued Allomong. "We really appreciate her hard work and good ideas to help us raise money to build our adoption center."
