Blue Ridge Books Makes Sarge Sponsorship Possible

Because of a special donation from Blue Ridge Books owners Robert and Betsy Baggett, Sarge's Animal Rescue Foundation is one of five sponsors of Stellar Media's "200 Years of Home" DVD.
Eric Larson, President & CEO of Stellar Media, approached Blue Ridge Books about being a sponsor of the video his company produced about the history, people and beauty of Haywood County. The Baggetts thought that as a sponsor of this video, Sarge's would gain additional exposure to area businesses and visitors to Haywood County. However, they knew that the money Sarge's raises is earmarked for the proposed adoption center and medical supplies for animals in need of special care that are rescued from Haywood County animal facility.
"We are very grateful to Robert and Betsy for this donation," said Doyle Teague, President of the Sarge's Board of Directors, "and we are very proud to be associated with Stellar Media's celebration of Haywood County."
"200 Years of Home" is now available at Blue Ridge Books., 152 S. Main Street in Waynesville. It will be distributed soon to other Haywood County businesses.

The video commemorates the county's bicentennial celebration. It will be available to local businesses, tourists and local residents. The DVD is available at the Greater Haywood County Chamber of Commerce in Waynesville, the Maggie Valley Chamber of Commerce, the city administrative offices in Canton or the WNC Visitors Center on Depot Street in the Frog Level section of Waynesville.
