Downtown dog walk to raise funds

Sarge’s Animal Rescue Foundation is holding its first annual downtown dog walk, but still need sponsors. Individuals or businesses can donate money to the cause by filling out a registration form, along with a $15 registration fee, and gathering names for the pledge sheets.

Business owners can donate money, and those who do will have their business names printed on the dog walk T-shirt, which will be worn by every walker.

In addition, each business sponsor is entitled to advertise their business on the courthouse lawn, but table space is limited.

The type of sponsorship options are primary ($2,500), platinum ($1,000), gold ($500), silver ($250), bronze ($125) and non-profit ($50).

Primary sponsors will have their name or their business name listed on the front and back of every T-shirt, the doggie bandanna and on any promotional material used for the event providing a commitment is made before July 24.






Checks should be payable to SARF downtown dog walk and prizes will be given to pledge collectors and contest winners.

All money, $15 or more, should be turned into the Animal Hospital of Waynesville on Aug. 11.

Participants may also pick up their T-shirts, doggie bandannas and goody bags at this time.
