Max was a heartworm-positive Walker hound, treated and fostered by Sarge's before being sent in February 2010 on one of our "Dixie Dogs" transports
to a northern shelter, Common Sense for Animals. He was adopted quickly and his new owners wrote:
"Dr. Blease, Sassy and everyone else at Common Sense for Animals I want to thank you all for helping me get adopted by
my loving family. I have come a long way since I was brought in from the south as you can see. Every day is a new and fun
adventure here. Thank you all sooooo very much."
