Donna lives in Virginia--she came all the way here just to adopt Buckwheat on 7/11/09 and take him home. Donna sent us an
update in August, 2010: "Hi! My name is Donna Pitt. I adopted Buckwheat from you in July 2009. We call him Bucky. I just
want to let you know that he is doing very well! He is the SWEETEST little man!! Everyone who meets him just adores him.
I hope one day he might qualify to be a therapy dog (he's not ready for that yet). A bit of irony about him - he is afraid
of everything except a vacuum cleaner and a lawn mower - go figure..... Anyway - he is a good boy and he is healthy
and happy! Thank you for letting us adopt him. He and Kayce (our other rescue pup) are the best of friends - it is great to
watch them interact - they have a perfect relationship!"
